By accessing or using Legal Connect, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the platform.

1. About Legal Connect

Legal Connect is an online platform that helps clients find and connect with lawyers, attorneys, advocates, legal consultants, and law firms.

The platform allows clients to search for legal professionals based on areas of practice, location, experience, and professional profiles.

Legal Connect does not provide legal advice, legal representation, or act as a law firm.

2. Finding a Lawyer

Legal Connect provides tools to help clients discover legal professionals.

Clients may search lawyers based on:

• Legal practice areas
• Location
• Experience
• Professional profiles
• Services offered

While Legal Connect aims to provide accurate information, clients are responsible for evaluating and selecting a legal professional suitable for their needs.

3. Lawyer-Client Relationship

Legal Connect only provides a connection platform between clients and lawyers.

You acknowledge that:

• Legal Connect is not your lawyer or legal representative.
• Legal Connect does not provide legal advice.
• Any legal relationship is directly between you and the Lawyer.
• Any agreements, fees, consultations, and services are managed between you and the Lawyer.

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide accurate information when contacting lawyers.
• Communicate honestly and professionally.
• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of legal professionals.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes.

Clients should provide sufficient information to allow lawyers to understand their legal requirements.

5. Legal Advice Disclaimer

Information provided through Legal Connect profiles, listings, or platform content is for general informational purposes only.

You should not rely solely on platform information as legal advice.

Always consult a qualified legal professional regarding your specific legal situation.

6. Choosing a Lawyer

Legal Connect does not guarantee:

• The outcome of any legal matter.
• The quality of services provided by a lawyer.
• Availability of a lawyer.
• Acceptance of your case by a lawyer.

Clients should independently verify a lawyer’s qualifications, experience, and suitability before engaging their services.

7. Communication and Enquiries

When submitting an enquiry through Legal Connect:

• Your information may be shared with the selected legal professional.
• Lawyers may contact you regarding your enquiry.
• You are responsible for the information you choose to provide.

Legal Connect is not responsible for communication, negotiations, or agreements between clients and lawyers.

8. Reviews and Feedback

Clients may provide reviews and feedback about their experience.

Clients agree that reviews must:

• Be truthful and based on genuine experiences.
• Not contain false claims or misleading information.
• Not include unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate content.

Legal Connect may remove content that violates these Terms.

9. Account Information

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your account information accurate.
• Protecting your login details.
• All activity performed through your account.

You must notify Legal Connect if you suspect unauthorised account access.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Legal Connect may collect and process information required to provide platform services.

Client information may be shared with Lawyers when you submit enquiries or request legal assistance.

Legal Connect handles information according to applicable privacy laws and its Privacy Policy.

11. Prohibited Activities

Clients may not:

• Create false accounts.
• Pretend to be another person.
• Submit fraudulent enquiries.
• Harass or misuse lawyer contact information.
• Attempt to compromise platform security.
• Use Legal Connect for unlawful activities.

12. Payments and Legal Fees

Legal Connect does not determine or manage lawyer fees.

Any payments, consultation fees, retainers, or legal service agreements are between the client and the Lawyer.

Legal Connect is not responsible for disputes relating to legal fees or professional services.

13. Limitation of Liability

Legal Connect provides the platform as a connection service.

• Legal Connect is not responsible for:
• Legal advice provided by Lawyers.
• Professional services provided by Lawyers.
• Agreements between Clients and Lawyers.
• Losses resulting from lawyer-client interactions.

Clients remain responsible for selecting appropriate legal professionals.

14. Suspension and Account Removal

Legal Connect may suspend or remove accounts where users:

• Violate these Terms.
• Provide false information.
• Abuse the platform.
• Engage in unlawful activities.

15. Changes to These Terms

Legal Connect may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
